Monoprints

This series of 3 monoprints were inspired by Arthur Symons poem 'The Loom of Dreams'. I inked up individual pieces of fabric and used an etching press to print them onto the paper. A paper stencil created the circle shape, reflecting the worlds created in the poem.
The text under each poem comes from the last 2 sentences in each stanza.
