‘Incomprehensible’

This is a stone lithograph print using Lo-shu washes.

It is a reversal technique which allows for play and experimentation, as you can watch how the gum arabic and water decide to dry on the limestone slab.

This larger print shows the whole stone and the 4 different tests:

The left-hand side used regular gum arabic, whilst the right-hand side used synthetic gum.

The bottom half of the print used a higher concentration of gum arabic.
